The Covenant of Mayors third webinar on active sustainable mobility focused on different facets of urban planning for sustainable mobility. Drawing from municipalities’ best practices, this webinar tackled all aspects of urban planning for active mobility, starting with the engagement of citizens in the process (Valongo, Portugal), and passing through the re-allocation of public spaces (Turin, Italy), an attentive design to make active mobility areas accessible to the population as a whole (Vienna, Austria), and data-driven monitoring of cycling routes to keep improving the policy-making process (Oldenburg, Germany).
