The third session of the Act!onHeat Training Programme went into further details about the use of digital tools as an essential instrument for accelerating and improving the process of strategic H&C planning. Participants of this session were introduced to the user-friendly, open-source online software THERMOS, which enables address-level heat network planning. The complementary elements of two digital tools, THERMOS and Hotmaps, were outlined for a faster, more efficient, and more cost effective implementation of thermal projects.
The training programme is part of the EU-funded ActionHeat Project including partners from Fraunhofer ISI, e-think, Creara, CSE — Centre for Sustainable Energy, Technische Universität Wien, eclareon, and ICLEI Europe.
