With the COVID-19 crisis far from being over and the danger of climate change upon us, expectations for policy decisions are high, and today’s choices will have far-reaching consequences for many generations.
EERA is well-aware of this scenario and has understood that the Clean Energy Transition (CET) is not only about guaranteeing the widespread availability of cost-competitive low-carbon energy technologies. Most importantly, it is about attaining a profound societal transformation.
Through its high-level Policy Work, the Alliance aims at playing a key role in driving the CET in Europe and supporting the transition towards a fair, sustainable, competitive, and climate-neutral future by 2050.
