From black to green: The story of Denmark’s green transition

Denmark’s transition is a story of moving from black to green by means of public-private partnerships, broad political agreements, strong research and development and a private sector bold enough to supercharge action at an early stage. Standing on the shoulders of fifty years of dedicated efforts, we have come far. We have made decisive changes to how sustainability is integrated in industries as well as local economies, but we ought to get even further.
