TOMORROW Final Conference in Valencia

Since 2019, the TOMORROW project has supported 6 pilot cities – Valencia, Mouscron, Brest, Dublin, Brasov and Nis – in implementing innovative forms of governance, based on the concept of transition management, to facilitate and accelerate sustainable transitions through participatory processes of visioning, learning and experimenting. In the framework of the project, the cities developed 2050 transition roadmaps together with citizens and other local stakeholders.

TOMORROW’s final conference gave the floor to the project’s 6 pilot cities, for them to showcase what they have achieved over the course of the project and to present how they have involved citizens and stakeholders in their transition roadmap. The conference gave insights into the successful processes put into place in TOMORROW’s cities, dedicating special attention to the host, Valencia, in view of the European Green Capital Award ceremony happening in Grenoble the next day, for which Valencia is a finalist.
